April was a good month. Boston Gal is in her forties so she's probably into stocks. I am in my
sixties, with 1/3 of my account in bonds and I got a 3.6% return. But
you have to look at all of the months, not just one. December and September 2010 were great months too.

It's good time to dip back in real estate. Cost of ownership (with 20% down) is less then rent in most places. One can actually make money buying real estate to rent now including high-priced places such as Boston or SF Bay Area. Why don't you look into acquiring a dup-tri-or-4-plex?
